&Pup’s turf is antimicrobial, heat resistant, and is installed using techniques and materials that facilitate a clean and odor-free environment. We also monitor the heat daily to ensure happy paws and pups. The park is spot cleaned during the day, disinfected every evening with Veterinarian recommended disinfectant, and thoroughly disinfected and deodorized as necessary to minimize the smell from urine and feces.
Dogs are the members and humans are their Chaperons. Up to three dogs can become members per owner, and our &Pup members can bring up to 3 Chaperons and guests per dog per visit. Each Chaperon and guest will need to create an account and fill out proper waivers before their first visit to the park.
No, all well tempered dogs are welcome at &Pup! We interview each member dog to make sure they are a good fit for the park and do not allow aggressive dogs no matter the lineage.
A pup is eligible if it is fully vaccinated, including Bordatella, Rabies, and DHPP. We will inform caretakers when additional vaccinations and screenings are necessary to ensure their safety. All candidates must pass our behavior evaluation to become members.
Currently the park is for dogs and their Chaperons to enjoy together. We want to build a community of like-minded dog lovers. We require one Chaperon to accompany up to two pup members. Two Chaperons must accompany groups of three or more pups.
We have tables and wifi available for light work; however, for safety, we want our pups to have their Chaperons attending to them at all times. The park can be used for work by chaperons, if the work does not interfere with their ability to keep an eye on their pups and tend to them when necessary.
We do not allow kids under 16 years old to be in the park for their safety and the safety of our member dogs.
We have three zones based on Pup and Chaperon energy (low, medium, high), so pup groupings are more by energy than by size. The lower energy zone is primarily for small dogs, but larger dogs with suitable disposition may be allowed based on our evaluation and discretion. Our handlers our trained in dog behavior recognition to direct our members to the most appropriate zone for them at the time.
We don’t allow any outside food or drinks into the park as it becomes a safety hazard outside designated eating areas. We offer a full menu of beverage and food options for purchase at the park. We also don’t allow outside treats for the safety of our pups.
We do not allow outside dog toys to be brought inside the park. We will provide toys when we determine conditions are optimal for safe play. This helps us avoid hoarding and confrontation between pups!
